Brandon Miller has been dancing since he was five years old, beginning in Arizona taking classes at Dance Connection and Dance Connection 2 training in tap, jazz, and acro. After moving to Colorado, Brandon continued his training in tap, jazz, acro, and added hip-hop and contemporary to his repertoire. When he was 12 he performed in New York with the cast of Tap Kids where he received training from such great tappers as Ayodele Casel, Mark Goodman, and Lisa Hopkins.
Recently, Brandon was the Champion of Operation Tap’s Technique Tuesday Challenge VI, and was a finalist in challenges III and IV as well. Brandon is a part of Jason Janas' Professional Tap Company Co.MMIT, and has had the opportunity to assist Jason's classes at Radix Dance Convention. He also is a staff member with Thunderstruck Dance Competition and loves to travel the country for dance. Brandon can't wait to share and pass on his dance knowledge to many students for years to come!
Camron Branch, a native of Colorado Springs, competes and instructs locally and nationally as a member of the Soul Mechanics Krew after falling in love with music and dance at the age of 16. A member of SMK since 2008, Camron has studied the true traditions and structure of hip-hop and break-dance by learning from founders, choreographers, and innovators of the dance directly and passing along that knowledge to students.
Camron believes that with the right methods, knowledge, and technique; dance can be shared in the studio environment while still preserving the culture and love for the dance. Come try Camron’s class at Artistry in Motion, you too will fall in love with dance!
Mercy grew up in Colorado Springs and began her training with Rozanne David at The Dance Center and went on to train and dance under H. Christopher Fairbank at the Performing Arts Conservatory of Texas in their pre-professional ballet program on half scholarship. After returning home to finish high school and spend time with family, she continued to train under Antonia Matchefts, Tasha Redder, and Mia Otto. Mercy has been invited to attend multiple national competitions and summer intensives like Youth America Grand Prix New York City Finals, Boston Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre.
Mercy has been recognized regionally at competitions like NUVO, Dance Educators of America, Sheer Elite (formerly known as Sheer Talent) as well as being featured in Pointe Magazine in 2013. Mercy is also a member of Kinect Dance Collective and is super excited to share her love of dance with the next generation of dancers.
Kelsey grew up dancing at the age of 3 in Iowa where she trained in contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, musical theater, creative movement, pointe and dance team. Kelsey competed in multiple competitions throughout the country, where her choreography and solo performances won numerous awards, and also competed at the state level for dance team. From there, she followed her passion and attended Oklahoma City University to receive her BS in Dance and Arts Management. Her performance credits include Student Choreography shows at OCU Performing arts center, Festival of tree and lights, Project 21 and performed nationally at Disneyland. She strives to inspire young dancers to create their own unique style while learning the basics of dance. She is excited to be a part of the AIM family and share her experience with the best studio in the Springs.
